Clíona Ní Chatháin joined Cumann Staire in the first year of her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2009, she soon became heavilly involved, contributing greatly to the society. She is currently in her final year year, studying Irish and French in her Bachelor of Arts, she also completed the diploma in Irish in 2012. After a leave of absence in France for a year as Erasmus Rep. she was elected in absencia to the vital role of Co-Arts Ball Organiser for 2012 on the first count. Clíona and John organised Arts Ball 2012, which raised €10,000 for charity and had over 1,400 attendees.

Clíona comes from Cork city and is the Sister of famed Cumann Staire stalwart, Dónal. She speaks Irish, English, German and French. Clíona is also an accomplished Piano player.
