Clíona Ní Chatháin joined Cumann Staire in the first year of her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2009, she soon became heavilly involved, contributing greatly to the society. She is currently in her second year, studying Irish and French in her Bachelor of Arts, she also is in the process of completing the diploma in Irish. After a leave of absence in France for a year as Erasmus Rep. she was elected in absencia to the vital role of Co-Arts Ball Organiser for 2012 on the first count.

Clíona comes from Cork city and is the Sister of famed Cumann Staire stalwart, Dónal. She speaks Irish, English, German and French. Clíona is also an accomplished Piano player.
