IHSA and Aistir Conference Programme
The new conference website at www.aistir.com goes live on 17/02/08 and will provide detailed information on all events.
An Cumann Staire (the History Society) at N.U.I., Galway is pleased to announce that the 58th Annual Conference of the Irish History Students' Association (IHSA) will take place at N.U.I.G. from 29 February to 1 March 2008.
The IHSA is a cross-border association for students of history in Irish universities. Submissions are invited on all topics from postgraduate and undergraduate students for this year's conference. We also welcome students from outside Ireland working on Irish topics. By bringing together an audience with diverse interests from across Ireland and beyond, the conference allows access for individual speakers to a supportive yet critical environment in which to present the results of their historical study.
The deadline for submission of conference proposals has passed.
The conference fee is €20.
This page contains important information for students and societies who intend to present at, or to attend the conference.
